Abstract:Objective To explore the impact of small incision double eyelid surgery on the surgical outcome and satisfaction of patients with single eyelids. Methods Eighty patients who were treated for single eyelid surgery at Chengdu Jinniu Shengshi Yuerong Medical Aesthetics Clinic from March to September 2024 were selected and divided into an observation group and a control group by random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with small incision double eyelid surgery, while the control group was treated with total incision double eyelid surgery. The surgical indicators, treatment satisfaction and complication rates of the two groups were compared. Results The operation time of the observation group was (29.28±0.57) minutes, which was shorter than that of the control group (61.80±0.62) minutes(P<0.05); The recovery time of the observation group was (32.06±0.45) days, which was shorter than that of the control group (93.42±0.80) days(P<0.05). The incidence of complications such as poor double eyelid, bilateral asymmetry and scar hyperplasia after surgery in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). The treatment satisfaction score of the observation group was (9.25±0.60) points, which was higher than that of the control group (8.46±0.78) points(P<0.05). Conclusion: The operation time of small incision double eyelid surgery for single eyelid patients is short, the recovery time is fast, the incidence of postoperative complications is low, and the treatment satisfaction of patients is higher. It is worthy of clinical application.
