Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of type A botulinum toxin combined with hyaluronic acid in the treatment of glabellar lines. Methods A total of 200 patients with glabellar lines admitted to Changchun Zhongyan Aesthetic Hospital from July 2023 to July 2024 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group according to different treatment methods, with 100 patients in each group. The control group was treated with type A botulinum toxin, and the observation group was treated with type A botulinum toxin combined with hyaluronic acid. The duration of drug efficacy, wrinkle improvement, clinical efficacy and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The duration of drug efficacy in the observation group was (14.43±1.16)months, which was higher than (13.94±1.27)months in the control group, and the wrinkle score was (0.54±0.11)scores, which was lower than (0.88±0.12)scores in the control group (P<0.05). The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 98.00%, which was higher than 90.00% in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 4.00%, which was lower than 13.00% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The application effect of type A botulinum toxin combined with hyaluronic acid in the treatment of glabellar lines can effectively prolong the duration of drug efficacy, improve wrinkles, with definite clinical effects and good application value, and it has good safety.
