Objective To explore the value of combined application of eyelid bag correction, orbital septum fat release for tear trough filling, and midface lift surgery. Methods A total of 60 patients with eye bag, tear trough depression and midface ptosis admitted to Yunyan Linxi Medical Aesthetic Clinic from January 2019 to June 2024 were selected as the research subjects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group (n =30) and the experimental group (n =30). The control group underwent traditional eyelid bag correction, and the experimental group underwent eyelid bag correction combined with orbital septum fat release for tear trough filling and midface lift surgery. The eye bag degree, tear trough depression improvement effect, midface lift satisfaction and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The eye bag score of the experimental group at 6 months after operation was lower than that of the control group (P <0.05). The reduction in tear trough depth of the experimental group at 6 months after operation was higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). The midface lift satisfaction score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the experimental group was 6.67%, which was lower than 26.67% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Compared with traditional eyelid bag correction, eyelid bag correction combined with orbital septum fat release for tear trough filling and midface lift surgery shows more ideal effects in improving eye bags, filling tear troughs, and lifting the midface, with fewer postoperative complications. It is a safe and effective comprehensive plastic surgery method.
