Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of radiofrequency-assisted liposuction combined with PPDO barbed suture lifting in facial rejuvenation. Methods A total of 70 patients who underwent facial rejuvenation treatment in Shenzhen Jumei Boyue Medical Beauty Clinic from August 2023 to November 2024 were selected, and they were divided into the reference group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 35 patients in each group. The reference group received PPDO barbed suture lifting, and the observation group received radiofrequency-assisted liposuction combined with PPDO barbed suture lifting. The facial aging severity score, mandibular margin laxity severity score, physician satisfaction with surgical effect, patient satisfaction with aesthetic effect and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the facial aging severity score and mandibular margin laxity severity score in the observation group were lower than those in the reference group (P <0.05). The physician satisfaction with surgical effect in the observation group (97.14%) was higher than that in the reference group (77.14%) (P <0.05). The patient satisfaction with aesthetic effect in the observation group (100.00%) was higher than that in the reference group (82.86%) (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group (2.86%) was lower than that in the reference group (20.00%) (P <0.05). Conclusion Radiofrequency-assisted liposuction combined with PPDO barbed suture lifting has definite application value in facial rejuvenation. It can effectively improve facial aging, reduce mandibular margin laxity, help to obtain the common acceptance of the doctors and patients, with a low incidence of postoperative complications and good application safety.
