Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of type A botulinum toxin combined with sodium hyaluronate on facial contour improvement in patients undergoing facial contour remodeling. Methods A total of 84 patients who received facial contour remodeling treatment in Hefei Yaohai Shi'erbai Medical Beauty Clinic from October 2022 to September 2024 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the control group and the study group by the random number table method, with 42 patients in each group. The control group was treated with type A botulinum toxin, and the study group was treated with type A botulinum toxin combined with sodium hyaluronate. The facial contour improvement effect, treatment effect, adverse reaction rate and treatment satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the ∠AOB and WLF in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). There were no significant differences in LLF, WLF/LLF and mid-facial length between the two groups (P >0.05). The total effective rate of treatment in the study group (97.62%) was higher than that in the control group (80.95%) (P <0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P >0.05). The patient satisfaction score of the study group after treatment was higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Type A botulinum toxin combined with sodium hyaluronate in patients undergoing facial contour remodeling can effectively improve the treatment effect and satisfaction, achieving a good facial contour improvement effect.
