Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical application effect of extraction socket preservation combined with platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) in implantation in the aesthetic zone of maxillary anterior teeth. Methods A total of 68 patients who needed maxillary anterior teeth implantation and restoration in the Department of Stomatology, Sheyang County People's Hospital from March 2020 to March 2024 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the control group and the study group by the random number table method, with 34 patients in each group. The control group received conventional socket preservation after tooth extraction, and the study group was additionally treated with PRF on this basis. The absorption of hard and soft tissues, implant survival rate, stability, marginal bone absorption, aesthetic score and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The absorption of alveolar ridge width and vertical height in the study group was less than that in the control group, and the thickness of labial soft tissue was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). The ISQ value and survival rate of implants in the study group were better than those in the control group, and the marginal bone absorption was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). The scores of PES and WES in the study group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The satisfaction rate in the study group was 97.06%, which was higher than 82.35% in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Extraction socket preservation combined with PRF technology can effectively reduce bone resorption in the extraction area, promote soft tissue growth, effectively improve implant stability and aesthetic restoration effect, and enhance patient satisfaction.
