Abstract:Objective To explore the efficacy of ultra-tension-reducing cosmetic suture combined with laser treatment in preventing hypertrophic scar after superficial mass removal. Methods A total of 88 patients with hypertrophic scar after superficial mass removal admitted to our hospital from March to December 2024 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the control group and the study group by the random number table method, with 44 patients in each group. The control group was treated with ultra-tension-reducing cosme tic suture, and the study group was treated with pulsed dye laser on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy, scar improvement and psychological state were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 97.73%, which was higher than 81.82% in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of scar color, scar thickness, vascular distribution, softness and total score in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of HAMA and HAMD in the study group after treatment were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Ultra-tension-reducing cosmetic suture combined with pulsed dye laser treatment has an ideal clinical effect in patients with hypertrophic scar after superficial mass removal, which can effectively promote scar improvement, thus im prove patients' psychological state.
