Objective To explore the effect of Guizhi Baidiankang capsules combined with Qubai lotion and 308 nm excimer light therapy on skin lesions and repigmentation rate in patients with vitiligo. Methods A total of 60 patients with vitiligo who visited the outpatient department of Shouguang Dermatology Prevention and Treatment Station from April 2023 to April 2024 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the control group and the treatment group by the random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. The control group was treated with topical 0.1% tacrolimus ointment combined with 308 nm excimer light, and the treatment group was treated with Guizhi Baidiankang capsules combined with Qubai lotion and 308 nm excimer light. The skin lesion area, repigmentation rate and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The skin lesion area of the treatment group after treatment was smaller than that of the control group (P <0.05). The repigmentation rates of the treatment group after the 2nd, 4th and 6th courses of treatment were higher than those of the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was 16.67%, which showed no statistically significant difference compared with 20.00% in the control group (P >0.05). Conclusion Guizhi Baidiankang capsules combined with Qubai lotion and 308 nm excimer light can synergistically promote repigmentation of vitiligo lesions, with fast onset, good cosmetic repair effect and good safety, which is worthy of clinical application.
