Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of moist exposed burn ointment on wound healing in patients with skin ulcers. Methods A total of 126 patients with skin ulcers admitted to Lecong Hospital of Shunde Foshan from October 2023 to October 2024 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 63 patients in each group. The control group received routine treatment, and the observation group was treated with moist exposed burn ointment. The treatment effect, clinical related indicators and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group (96.83%) was higher than that in the control group (87.30%) (P <0.05). The time to obvious granulation formation and ulcer wound healing time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the wound area after treatment was smaller than that in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of social function, physical function, emotional status and health status in the observation group after treatment were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The application of moist exposed burn ointment in the wound healing process of patients with skin ulcers can effectively promote wound healing, reduce wound area and improve patients' quality of life, which has high clinical application value.
