Abstract:Objective To study the effect of digital technology in oral restoration. Methods A total of 60 patients who underwent oral restoration in Suzhou Stomatological Hospital from May 2022 to May 2024 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the control group and the experimental group by the random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. The control group received conventional restoration, and the experimental group received restoration using digital technology. The restoration effect, satisfaction and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The proportions of restoration integrity, marginal adaptation and good functional recovery in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The satisfaction with aesthetics, comfort and treatment experience of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the experimental group (6.67%) was lower than that in the control group (26.67%) (P <0.05). Conclusion Compared with conventional restoration methods, the application of digital technology in oral restoration can more effectively improve the comprehensive quality of restorations. The restorations made by this technology have better performance in integrity, marginal adaptation and functionality, with lower incidence of post-restoration complications and higher patient satisfaction.
