Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of continuous nursing on wound healing in patients after reconstructive plastic surgery of the ear and nose. Methods A total of 108 patients who underwent reconstructive plastic surgery of the ear and nose in Yantai Yuhuangding Hospital from July 2021 to July 2024 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the control group and the study group by the random number table method, with 54 patients in each group. The control group received conventional nursing, and the study group received continuous nursing on the basis of conventional nursing. The appearance satisfaction, wound healing status, self-care ability and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The appearance satisfaction scores of the study group at 3 and 6 months after operation were higher than those of the control group (P <0.05).The excellent and good rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). The self-care ability of the study group at 3 and 6 months after operation was better than that of the control group (P <0.05).The incidence of complications in the study group (3.70%) was lower than that in the control group (12.96%) (P <0.05). Conclusion Continuous nursing can effectively promote the wound healing process of patients after reconstructive plastic surgery of the ear and nose, improve patients' satisfaction with postoperative appearance, enhance their self-care ability, and reduce the risk of complications.
