Abstract:Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of halometasone cream combined with tacrolimus ointment in the treatment of patients with seborrheic dermatitis. Methods A total of 60 patients with seborrheic dermatitis admitted to Beijing Armed Police Corps Hospital from January to July 2025 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the reference group (n=30) and the study group (n=30) by the random number table method. The reference group was treated with tacrolimus ointment, and the study group was treated with tacrolimus ointment+halometasone cream. The clinical effect, scores of clinical sign and symptom and adverse reaction rate were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group (96.67%) was higher than that in the reference group (73.33%) (P<0.05). The scores of skin lesions, scales, pruritus and erythema in the study group after treatment were lower than those in the reference group (P<0.05). There was no signiffcant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion The application of halometasone cream combined with tacrolimus ointment in the treatment of patients with seborrheic dermatitis can improve the treatment effect, alleviate clinical symptoms, and has high safety.
