Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of type A botulinum toxin combined with medical collagen ffller and poly-L-lactic acid on periorbital wrinkle improvement in patients with periorbital wrinkles. Methods A total of 150 patients with periorbital wrinkles admitted to Lingmei Oriental Medical Beauty Clinic from January 2023 to December 2024 were selected, and they were divided into group A, group B, and group C by the random number table method, with 50 patients in each group. Group A was treated with type A botulinum toxin, group B was treated with type A botulinum toxin combined with medical collagen ffller, and group C was treated with type A botulinum toxin combined with medical collagen ffller and poly-L-lactic acid. The periorbital wrinkle improvement, clinical efffcacy, adverse reaction rate and recurrence were compared among the three groups. Results After treatment, the periorbital wrinkle score of group C was lower than that of group A and group B (P<0.05). The excellent and good rate of group C was higher than that of group A and group B (P<0.05). There was no statistically signiffcant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions among the three groups (P>0.05). The recurrence rates of baggy eye and ffshtail lines in group C were lower than those in group A and group B (P<0.05). Conclusion The combined application of type A botulinum toxin, medical collagen ffller and poly-L-lactic acid in patients with periorbital wrinkles can reduce the degree of wrinkles, improve clinical efffcacy, decrease the incidence of adverse reactions, and reduce recurrence.
