Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of the nursing model based on the Health Action Process Approach on dental aesthetics in patients undergoing immediate implantation for traumatic tooth loss. Methods A total of 86 patients who underwent immediate implantation for traumatic tooth loss at Xi'an Weiyang Deya Zhengshang Dental Clinic from January 2022 to January 2025 were selected, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 43 patients in each group. The control group received conventional nursing, and the observation group received the nursing model based on the Health Action Process Approach. The implant stability, behavioral compliance, dental aesthetics and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The implant stability score of the observation group after nursing was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The scores of behavioral compliance in the observation group after nursing were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The dental aesthetics score of the observation group after nursing was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group (4.65%) was lower than that in the control group (18.60%) (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of the nursing model based on the Health Action Process Approach in patients undergoing immediate implantation for traumatic tooth loss can not only effectively improve treatment compliance, enhance implant stability, and reduce the risk of complications, but also improve dental aesthetics, with good comprehensive efffcacy.
