Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of Carisolv minimally invasive caries removal combined with 3M composite resin restoration on tooth color matching in patients with anterior proximal caries. Methods A total of 60 patients with anterior proximal caries admitted to our hospital from February 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the research subjects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group and the observation group, with 30 patients in each group. The control group received conventional mechanical caries removal combined with 3M composite resin restoration, and the observation group received Carisolv minimally invasive caries removal combined with 3M composite resin restoration. The restoration effect, tooth color matching, restoration retention rate and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results At 24 months after surgery, the excellent and good rates of marginal adaptation and color matching in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). At 24 months after surgery, the excellent and good rate of tooth color matching in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). The restoration retention rate of the observation group was 96.67%, which was higher than 76.67% of the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 10.00%, which was lower than 46.67% in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Carisolv minimally invasive caries removal combined with 3M composite resin restoration in the treatment of anterior proximal caries can achieve excellent aesthetic effect and high color matching, improve the long-termstability and retention rate of restorations, and reduce the risk of postoperative complications.
