Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of halometasone/triclosan cream in the treatment of localized chronic eczema. Methods A total of 102 patients with localized chronic eczema admitted to Nanjing Ruidong Hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group and the observation group, with 51 patients in each group. The control group was treated with halometasone cream, and the observation group was treated with halometasone/triclosan cream. The skin lesion severity, pruritus degree and skin barrier function were compared between the two groups. Results After 4 weeks of treatment, the EASI score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). After 4 weeks of treatment, the VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). After 4 weeks of treatment, the TEWL of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Halometasone/triclosan cream has definite clinical advantages in improving skin lesion severity and pruritus symptoms in patients with localized chronic eczema, and can enhance skin barrier function, which is worthy of clinical application.
