Abstract:Objective To evaluate the application effect of polycaprolactone microsphere ffller in nasal dorsal augmentation and its influence on morphology maintenance and symmetry. Methods A total of 100 patients with low nasal dorsum admitted to Guangxi Nanning Huamei Medical Beauty Hospital from January to December 2024 were selected. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group (50 patients) and the study group (50 patients). The control group was treated with sodium hyaluronate ffller, and the study group was treated with polycaprolactone microsphere ffller. The aesthetic effect, morphology maintenance and symmetry, quality of life and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results At 1, 3 and 6 months after surgery, the physicians' aesthetic scores and patients' satisfaction scores in the study group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The effective rate of dorsal nasal height increase and the excellent and good rate of symmetry index in the study group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). At 3 and 6 months after surgery, the scores of PF and MH in the study group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 8.00%, compared with 4.00% in the control group, the difference was not statistically signiffcant (P>0.05). Conclusion Polycaprolactone microsphere ffller for nasal dorsal augmentation can improve aesthetic effect, promote morphological improvement, and enhance patients' quality of life, with good safety.
