Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of individualized nursing intervention on wound healing and mental state in patients undergoing plastic and reconstructive surgery for nasal trauma. Methods A total of 96 patients who underwent plastic and reconstructive surgery for nasal trauma in Xinjiang Corps Hospital of Chinese People's Armed Police Force and No. 951 Hospital of PLA Army from July 2022 to June 2024 were selected as the research subjects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group and the study group, with 48 patients in each group. The control group received conventional nursing intervention, and the study group received individualized nursing intervention on the basis of conventional nursing intervention. The wound healing status, mental state, complication rate and appearance satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The excellent and good rate of wound healing in the study group (95.83%) was higher than that in the control group (79.17%) (P<0.05). After intervention, the scores of SAS and SDS in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the study group (4.17%) was lower than that in the control group (18.75%) (P<0.05). The appearance satisfaction score of the study group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Individualized nursing intervention can improve the appearance satisfaction of patients undergoing plastic and reconstructive surgery for nasal trauma, enhance wound healing quality, ameliorate mental state, and reduce the incidence of complications.
