    Abstract:

Objective: To evaluate the application value and clinical efficacy of single-end polyetheretherketone (PEEK) bonded bridges for minimally invasive restoration of isolated anterior tooth loss. Methods: A total of 60 patients with isolated anterior tooth defects who visited the Department of Stomatology at our hospital from June 2024 to September 2025 were selected and randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group using a random number table, with 30 cases in each group. The experimental group received single-end PEEK bonded bridges, while the control group received traditional fiber-reinforced composite resin bonded bridges. The restoration success rate, aesthetic outcome (VAS scoring method), patient satisfaction, and complication incidence were observed and recorded at 6 months post-restoration. Results: The restoration success rate in the experimental group was 96.67% (29/30), significantly higher than that in the control group (83.33% (25/30)) (P<0.05). The aesthetic score in the experimental group was (9.12±0.63), markedly superior to that in the control group (7.85±0.74) (P<0.05). Patient satisfaction in the experimental group was 93.33% (28/30), higher than that in the control group (80.00% (24/30)) (P<0.05). The complication incidence in the experimental group was 6.67% (2/30), lower than that in the control group (20.00% (6/30)) (P<0.05). Conclusion: Single-end PEEK bonded bridges demonstrate high restoration success rates and excellent aesthetic outcomes in minimally invasive restoration of isolated anterior tooth loss, with high patient satisfaction and low complication rates. They possess significant clinical utility and can be widely promoted for clinical application.
