Abstract:Objective:To explore the influence of aesthetic cognitive intervention on patients' facial symmetry and self-aesthetic identity in oral implant nursing. Methods: From April 2022 to June 2025, 76 patients with dental implants were selected and divided into two groups according to the admission time, with 38 patients in each group. The control group was given routine care, while the observation group was given aesthetic cognitive intervention on the basis of routine care. Objective aesthetic evaluation, subjective aesthetic evaluation, facial symmetry self-rating scale and dental aesthetic social psychological influence were compared between the two groups immediately after implantation and 6 months after implantation. Results: There was no statistical significance in objective aesthetic evaluation between the two groups (P > 0.05). Compared with the control group, the observation group had higher subjective aesthetic satisfaction (P < 0.05), higher facial symmetry satisfaction (P < 0.05) and less negative social and psychological impact (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The aesthetic cognitive intervention of dental implant patients can help patients to establish correct aesthetic cognition of dental implant, improve their recognition and satisfaction, and improve their social self-confidence.
