Abstract:Objective: To analyze the clinical restoration effect of direct composite resin bonding for tooth restoration in anterior teeth aesthetic repair, and to investigate the impact of this technique on patients" periodontal health-related indicators. Methods: From January 2023 to December 2025, 80 patients with anterior tooth tooth defects, discoloration, and minor gaps requiring aesthetic restoration were selected and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received traditional composite resin direct filling treatment; the observation group received composite resin direct bonding tooth restoration technology. The aesthetic restoration effects, periodontal indicators, and complication rates of the two groups were compared. Results: The aesthetic restoration effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group (P < 0.05); the periodontal indicators of the patients in the observation group were better than those in the control group (P < 0.05); the complication rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The composite resin layered direct bonding tooth restoration technology applied in anterior teeth aesthetic restoration can achieve good aesthetic results, maintain minimally invasive teeth well, improve the periodontal microenvironment of patients, prevent the occurrence of periodontal inflammatory risk events, and has good safety.
