Abstract:Objective: To study the effect of comfort care combined with beauty intervention in the perioperative period of sinusitis. Methods: 96 patients undergoing sinusitis surgery were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, each with 48 patients. The control group received routine care, while the observation group received comfort care combined with beauty intervention on this basis, including preoperative pain assessment, comfortable position guidance, nasal irrigation management, nasal and facial swelling care, skin cleaning, and psychological counseling. Results: The pain score of the observation group 24 hours after surgery was (3.12 ± 0.64) points, which was lower than that of the control group (4.86 ± 0.79) points; the recovery time of nasal ventilation was (3.21 ± 0.58) days, which was shorter than that of the control group (4.76 ± 0.83) days. The hospital stay of the observation group was (5.42 ± 1.03) days, which was shorter than that of the control group (7.18 ± 1.26) days. The incidence of complications in the observation group was only 6.25%, which was lower than that of the control group (20.83%). The satisfaction rate of nursing in the observation group was 95.83%, which was higher than that of the control group (81.25%). Conclusion: Comfort care combined with beauty intervention can relieve perioperative pain in patients with sinusitis, accelerate the recovery of nasal function, alleviate negative emotions, and reduce the risk of complications, showing excellent clinical application effects.
