Objective To explore the effect of type A botulinum toxin combined with sodium hyaluronate compound solution on wrinkle rating and satisfaction in patients with glabellar wrinkles. Methods A total of 80 patients with glabellar wrinkles treated in Chengdu Jinniu Shengshi Yuerong Medical Aesthetics Clinic from March to September 2023 were selected, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 40 patients in each group. The control group was treated with type A botulinum toxin, and the observation group was treated with type A botulinum toxin combined with sodium hyaluronate compound solution. The wrinkle rating, treatment satisfaction and duration of effect were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the wrinkle rating of the observation group was (1.35±0.77), which was better than (1.90±0.90) of the control group (P <0.05). The treatment satisfaction score of the observation group was (7.85±0.92)scores, which was higher than (6.80±0.88)scores of the control group (P <0.05). The duration of effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Type A botulinum toxin combined with sodium hyaluronate compound solution has a good therapeutic effect and a long duration of effect in the treatment of patients with glabellar wrinkles, with a higher treatment satisfaction. It is worthy of clinical application and pro motion.
